Bethany College, a small independent undergraduate college in central Kansas, is known for its friendliness and safety. With excellence in both professional programs and the liberal arts, its special strengths are in people-related programs such as business, education and criminal justice, as well as in the arts. Bethany is proud to be a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, providing a rich spiritual life to students, faculty and staff of all faiths. Most students are of traditional age living on campus. Most students participate in extracurricular activities, especially intercollegiate athletics, music and art. Bethany College focuses on the principles of integrity, hospitality, relationship, leadership, and sustainability.
