| School mission | Founded in 1906, Louisiana College is a private, Christian, coeducational school of liberal arts and sciences. Built upon the principles of character and learning, the College has a tradition of outstanding academics. 95% of Pre-Law students were accepted to law schools over the past five years. The five-year average for Louisiana College pre-law graduates accepted into accredited law schools is 95%. Most Louisiana College graduates enroll in law schools within Louisiana, where only 52% of applicants on average are accepted. Recent graduates have also attended law schools in Texas, Colorado, Nevada, Minnesota, Arkansas, and Mississippi. Louisiana College continues to hold a national reputation for excellence in its pre-med program. Eighty-six percent of the pre-med graduates over the past five years have been admitted into accredited medical schools.
