A selective university with strong admission standards, students may be required to present higher averages with specific preparation in certain subject areas for limited enrolment programs. The GCE Advanced Level courses, AP® courses, and the International Baccalaureate are recognized for admission and transfer credit. Students studying in the AP® curriculum may receive a maximum of one year of University credit towards their York degree. York University is accredited by The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada.
