| School mission: | York College of Pennsylvania is a comprehensive college of liberal arts and professions. With 4,600 full-time students, York is a rare breed: an ideally-sized private college. But does size really make a difference? Incoming freshman think so: it's their #1 reason for choosing York. York is small enough to maintain its strong student focus. Classes are small. Over the past three years we have built new state-of-the-art facilities like the Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center, Humanities Center, Engineering Innovation Center, and Performing Arts Center. A new 360 bed residence and dining facility, major renovations for Biological Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, Education, and Business are currently in the works.
