Museums or special academic buildings on campus Generac Hall, an 81,700-square-foot facility that houses classrooms and laboratories, opened in 2004. It allows undergraduates to experience state-of-the-art equipment and techniques that students at many other institutions would not have access to until graduate school. Generac Hall contains several intimate lecture halls, four life science teaching laboratories, four research laboratories dedicated to the biological sciences, reference library, greenhouse, and salt-water aquarium.
