Mission
School mission: We are Newman University named for John Henry Cardinal Newman and founded by the Adorers of the Blood of Christ for the purpose of empowering graduates to transform society. Newman students expect more from their education because they are expected to do more with it. Through the development of the whole person (the academic, social and spiritual) our students discover their capabilities and how they can positively impact their society and world. The academic degree our students receive is not the end, but rather a means to a greater purpose; a tool to aid them as they work to make the world a better place. Our goal for our students is not to be only an accountant or biologist; but rather that our students use the expertise they gain in their academic area to transform society.
