Museums or special academic buildings on campus The Marion E. Wade Center is a special collection of the books and papers of seven British authors: Owen Barfield, G. K. Chesterton, C. S. Lewis, George MacDonald, Dorothy L. Sayers, J. R. R. Tolkien, and Charles Williams. The Center houses more than 14,000 books including first editions and critical works.The Wade Center has a museum where such pieces as C.S. Lewis' wardrobe and writing desk, J.R.R. Tolkien's desk, and Pauline Baynes' original map of Narnia can be seen.
