| School mission: | William Paterson University is committed to promoting student success, academic excellence, and community outreach. The faculty are distinguished and diverse teachers and scholars, many of whom are recipients of prestigious awards from the Fulbright Program, Guggenheim Foundation, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Institutes of Health, and the National Science Foundation.
