Big Picture

I love Austin because it is a big town with a small town feel. Everyone supports local artists and businesses and is very welcoming. It is an amazing city to live in and I love that UT embraces that feel.

Academic Life

The first couple of years the classes are huge, teachers don't know your name, and it is easy to get behind. However, as you get further into your studies, teachers are more active, classes are smaller and there is more intellectual competition.

Student Body

I think UT has a very diverse population. Different than some other collges, I don't think that any certain type of person woud feel out of place here.
