Big Picture
I like the town, I like the campus. USF offers a lot of really neat extracurricular opportunities (i.e. the rope courses, kayaking and canoeing on the Hillsborouh, etc.). Student government is a bit pretentious, but other than that the experience was good.
Academic Life
My professors were generally really good. All my professors know my name, and the class size is great. The students aren't that competitive and at least in the undergraduate classes, students don't care to much about the actually application of their degree. I still affirm that USF needs to encourage its professors to set high academic standards and to enforce them.
Student Body
USF is very diverse and I think most people can easily find a niche at this campus. The campus and the student body are predominantly post-modernistic and liberal, but that is to be expected at a college campus. However, there are opportunities for dissenting voices to speak out. The campus seems to be very political, but not as motivated in regards to academics.
The Best Things
Diversity and opportunity
The Worst Things
Lack of depth and expertise in academics
