The Robinson Observatory is home to a 26" Schmidt-Cassegrain reflecting telescope, the largest in the state of Florida. The Observatory is used twice a month for public observing sessions and is also used to support astronomy classes at UCF. Students can also visit the UCF Arboretum Monday - Friday free of charge. The natural area of the Arboretum houses several distinct ecosystems. The Arboretum works closely with UCF's Biology department to support undergraduate and graduate education.
