School mission and unique qualities (as provided by the school):

Respected for its academic rigor, far-reaching international footprint, beautiful campus and dedication to service and community, St. Norbert College is recognized for encouraging students of all faiths to develop their full potential in understanding and serving the world. Students have the opportunity to participate in collaborative research fellowships with faculty as early as their first year. Internship opportunities are plentiful, not only on campus, but in the community and throughout the world. St. Norbert was the first college or university in the United States to meet new national standards of best practice in study abroad developed by the Forum on Education. Students here who wish to study abroad have more than 75 program sites in 37 countries on six continents from which to choose. St. Norbert offers academic excellence, personal attention and faculty members who make student success their top priority. We challenge students' viewpoint and encourage their exploration of ideas that may be new or different from their own. They will be in a community where students from around the world come together in consideration of local and global perspectives. Our graduates enjoy a 94 percent success rate of professional employment or graduate and professional school acceptance within nine months of graduation. A four-year graduation guarantee makes St. Norbert an exceptional value. St. Norbert College is the only institution of higher education in the world sponsored by the Norbertines, a Catholic order devoted to living in community and serving others. One of the Top-10 Catholic liberal arts colleges in the nation, St. Norbert continues to experience great momentum. Our Fall 2011 class was the largest and highest achieving in the college's history. That record class had the advantage of a newly renovated student union and dining hall, and a new welcome center for visitors. A new $40 million science facility is in the works. Students have much to be excited about, and their school spirit is reflective of that enthusiasm.
