St. Leo University is a private Catholic school located in west central Florida, about 30 minutes north of Tampa. Undergraduates at St. Leo can earn degrees in more than 40 fields, and graduate students may pursue master’s in business administration, education, teaching, criminal justice, and theology. St. Leo University also offers classes in the evenings and on the weekends for students who work during regular class hours. Outside the classroom, St. Leo students can get involved in more than 50 clubs, about 10 fraternities and sororities, and varsity athletics. The appropriately-named St. Leo Lions sports teams compete in the NCAA Division II Sunshine State Conference in more than 15 sports.
St. Leo students can also participate in many campus events, including concerts, professional sports games, and comedy shows, as well as the annual Fall Family Festival. Notable alumni include Desi Arnaz, a musician who also starred as Ricky in the television show I Love Lucy, and Stephen Stills, the only artist to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice in one night for his work with the bands Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills & Nash.

Saint Leo University was founded in 1889 and is now recognized as one of the nation's leading Catholic teaching universities and a school of international consequence. Our beautiful campus in Saint Leo, Florida--35 minutes north of Tampa--is home to our vibrant University College, serving the education needs of just under 2,000 traditional-age undergraduate students.
