| Mission | |
| School mission: | The mission of Crown College is to provide a biblically based education for Christian leadership in The Christian and Missionary Alliance, the church-at-large, and the world. One of the things that makes Crown special is the faculty. Professors are committed to students in a way you seldom see at other colleges. Many spend their own time developing meaningful relationships, which allow them to mentor and encourage students in life outside the classroom. There is a team spirit and unity in making the college work in light of a budget crunch. Crown also has a strong sense of community between faculty, students and staff, with a genuine love for each other. "Our football team persevered this past fall, despite the odds - beating Martin Luther after many years of defeat, playing through injury and coming up with the first winning season in Crown history. And they are fine, caring, servant-hearted young men!" - quote from staff at Crown. Crown is not a large college, yet its faculty and staff provide a high-quality education and service-oriented mentality that puts the student first. Our customers are given top-priority and meaningful attention. It is not just a Bible College, rather Crown offers nearly 40 majors from across the spectrum. They have a growing and intense nursing program, while on a regular basis they seek to expand the fields of study offered. Our nursing program has become top-notch, with state-of-the-art facilities and a rigorous study load. There are plans to open a Social Entrepreneurship major and a Public Health major in the fall of 2009. |
