Spalding University is a forward thinking university both in academic program design and delivery of instruction. Spalding University is a private, Catholic institution founded by the Sister of Charity of Nazareth. Guided by mission that seeks to meet the needs of the times, the university is anchored around four centers of excellence granting both undergraduate and graduate degrees including: (a) College of Business and Communication, (b) College of Education, (c) College of Health and Natural Science, and (d) College of Social Sciences and Humanities. Theses centers of excellence offer twenty-four undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs. Instructional formats are designed to meet the needs of students in an urban environment by offering high intensity learning through shortened and focused course instruction. Undergraduate students may complete an entire Bachelor degree in as little as three years or choose to attend weekend or evening classes. Graduate courses are offered in multiple formats and available in accelerated delivery systems through weekend and evening instruction.
