| School mission: | Part of Massachusetts' public higher education system, Salem State College's mission is to provide an affordable, quality education to all. Now entering its 151st year, the College's forward-looking vision includes the expansion of its campus, the conversion to technologically 'smart' classrooms and labs and the creation of academic programs that respond to work force needs.
