Big Picture
Rider is AMAZING! i LOVE it. Daly's is the cafeteria, the food is alright but, Cranberries and the Bronc Diner.... BANGIN! They have the best food. Here's a hint... get the food plan with 14 meals and 375 bronc bucks. you'll def go through those between all the diners on campus, not to mention Starbucks and Java city. Those are prob the best things on campus. Don't ever worry about finding something to do on campus. There is always something on. SEC works hard to provide activities every weekend for students that stay on campus, but if you're looking for something else.... just walk up and down the halls of the residence halls... you'll know where to go. The Frats are probably the biggest controversy. Rozanski, the pres., hates them. We've had 2 kicked off since last May. The ones that are left though, are really nice. Never had any problem with those boys.
Academic Life
All the professors at the campus know your name. All of the classes are small, about 30 kids or so, usually smaller than that. Actually no, that's a lie. All of your classes for your major are small like that, but core classes like BIO or something are lecture halls. And they suck! you need to go to class and pay attention. The only things you do in those classes are take tests. 4 of them. Which aren't hard if you study. What's good about those classes though is that the professor posts all the past tests online so you can study from them. They want you to succeed. They give you all the nec. equipment, but it's your job to use it.
Student Body
Most of the students are from South Jersey, Bucks County, PA, and NY. However, I have some good friends from Texas, Indiana, Maryland, and other states that aren't that close. There's a good variety of the types of students that go there. Black, white, indian, jewish, catholic..... There's a group of kids on campus.. BSU, Black Students Union, you typically see them hang out with one another, but i hang out with some of them as well, and i'm not black. They are real sweet. When in Daly's you can instantly pick out who plays sports because they all sit with their teammates. But if you pull up a chair and sit next to them, they will welcome you with open arms. Some of my best friends are on the swim team, and i don't swim (i tell them that i'd prob drown). No, but everyone is really friendly. Where you sit at lunch or something is not good representation, because people usually go to eat after practice or class.
