Most Students Studying Abroad
Embarking on a study abroad program—whether it's for a few weeks or an entire school year—allows students to escape their comfort zones, navigate foreign cities, and experience other cultures and customs. Studying at a foreign university also gives students a chance to experience college life outside of the United States, which can be drastically different than at their home university. Some of the schools listed below believe studying abroad to be such a valuable learning experience that they require every undergraduate student to do so. The schools on this list had the highest percentage of graduating seniors who participated in study abroad programs in the 2011-2012 academic year.
