Big Picture
This school is really awesome for someone who loves both academics and art...but you don't have to love art to come here! In general, it's a really close-knit and comfortable environment and because there are only about 4,000 students, it's really easy to make friends fast. At the same time, it's not too small, so it's not like being in high school again. People are really open and fun!
Academic Life
Academics here are amazing. There are so many interesting courses offered with amazing professors teaching them. You can really get an interdisciplinary education here because of the meshing of arts and liberal arts. The classes are generally pretty small, so it makes it really easy to get to know your classmates and professors.
Student Body
There are all sorts of people here, and you should really be open minded when coming to Purchase. This school is definitely for people who are willing to mingle with others from all different walks of life. The size (about 4,000), as I said earlier, is perfect because it's small enough to allow you to meet a lot of people, but it's not so small that everyone knows your business.
