1. Purchase has about 5,000 students this year. The class size ranges from 1 professor to 17 students and lecture classes go up to 1 professor to about 90 students. 2. I'll always remember RAVIEW, which is a show the RA's (residential assistants) put on for the freshmen to introduce us to Purchase. It addresses Purchase stereotypes, facts, and experiences through singing, dancing, acting, poetry, and more!
1. All professors have office hours where they are more than happy for you to go to so they can get to know who you are. 2. Purchase education is geared towards whatever you want it to be geared towards. It can be used to get a job and it can be used for learning's sake. 3. All professors expect you to participate in class, it's even a major part of your grade in most classes.
1. Students wear whatever they want to class. Men can wear dresses. People wear boxes over their head. Everything! 2. Our campus is very diverse. We have many cultural organizations on campus including: GLBTU, Latinos Unidos, Organization of African Peoples in America, Hillel, Women's Coalition, Society of Caribbean Ancestry, CASTL (alternative lifestyles), Christian Fushion, and the cheese club!
The Best Things
How they are replacing the doors to be less heavy. Just kidding! Purchase has every type of student from every type of background and it really teaches you how to accept others in the classroom and out of the classroom.
The Worst Things
How heavy the doors are at Campus Center South.
