| School mission: | Located on a beautiful 170 acre wooded hilltop overlooking the historic town of Philippi, West Virginia, Alderson-Broaddus College is a church-related professional education and liberal arts institution with a nationally renowned program leading to the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, and a regionally renowned program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The programs in Applied Music, and Music Education have led to the recognition of the College as a Yamaha School of Music Excellence. All science labs have recently been renovated and feature state-of-the-art technologies, while the college is currently expanding its music facilities. Modern computer labs, computer access in each residence hall room, and the state's only small college cadaver lab make A-B an attractive place in which to live and learn. Students compete in eleven men's and women's sports at the NCAA Division II level.
