Founded in 1865, Peirce is a private, four-year, institution in the business of transforming lives. We do so by making the benefits of higher education accessible and attainable to non-traditional college students of all ages and backgrounds. We educate, empower, and inspire our students and one another in a highly professional, career-focused academic environment defined by trust, integrity, and mutual respect. We are passionate about equipping our students to make a difference in their communities, workplaces, and the world.
The College offers accelerated bachelor of science and associate in science degree programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, General Studies, Health Information Administration, Health Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, and Paralegal Studies, utilizing three interchangeable delivery formats: On Campus, in Center City Philadelphia; On Site at corporate and community locations throughout the region; and Online through web based distance learning. All of these formats employ the same professors, curricula, and achieve the same learning outcomes. Peirce College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). Its Business Administration programs are accredited by The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), and its Paralegal Studies programs are approved by the American Bar Association (ABA).
