| Mission | |
| School mission: | Park University has a longstanding history of providing access to academic excellence to prepare student learners to think critically and creatively, and to communicate effectively. Today, Park continues that tradition by providing quality degree programs at various locations, times and delivery formats that best serve the students' needs. With 45 undergraduate and four graduate degree programs, students have the option of face-to-face or Online courses in the 16-week format or accelerated eight-week format. With over 35,000 Online enrollments during the 2003-2003 academic year, approximately 7,500 students enroll in Online courses each term, and there are five eight-week terms per year. The University also offers two 16-week semesters per year, which primarily include face-to-face courses. Furthermore, Park University is proud to announce the completion of the Board of Trustees approved strategic plan, Explorations and Transformations 2012: Access to Excellence. Completed in September 2003, the visioning document has helped Park to enhance the image and identity of the University; to ensure academic excellence; to ensure excellence in student services; and to ensure that Park will function as One University. |
