Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) boasts a scenic campus in West Palm Beach, Fla. The PBA athletic teams are known as the Sailfish and compete in the NCAA Division II National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). For graduate students, Palm  Beach Atlantic University also operates the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy, in addition to offering a variety of graduate counseling psychology degrees. Contemporary Christian band Tenth Avenue North formed while three of its members, Mike Donehey, Jason Jamison, and Scott Sanders, were students at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Founded in 1968, the university is known for its signature community service program called "Workship," which has recorded more than 1.9 million student service hours. The campus' vibrant religious life offers students broad experiences for spiritual growth through mission trips around the world, weekly worship services and student-led prayer groups. Now in its 43rd year, the university remains true to its founding ideals described in its motto "Enlightening Minds, Enriching Souls, Extending Hands."
