Big Picture
Ohio State is the biggest campus in the world. So many of my friends from high school go here and both my parents went here. I found the transition to college akward and weird here because the campus is so big and it is very very hard to establish close friends. There is a ton of pride with people yelling the O-H-I-O chant. I loved the experience of having football tickets and being in the crazy atmosphere of the crowd.
Academic Life
Some professors know my name. In college, one doesn't have to go to class unless the class requires attention. My favorite class is Chemistry or Biology even though they are both hard here at OSU. The material is extremely interesting and fun to learn. The students here are pretty competitive as I feel that each year Ohio State is getting harder and harder to get into and that the academic reputation is rising every year.
Student Body
I have been involved with some racial groups as I am Indian and I tend to have a lot of Asian friends. Religiously, I started going to a group called Real life which is a Christian group that meets once a week in a large lecture hall to sing and talk about religion. Most of the students at Ohio State are from Ohio, but there are plenty from all over the country and even the world as OSU is the biggest campus in the world. Students tend to change majors a lot and don't about too much about how much they will earn someday. It is all about getting through the classes first.
The Best Things
OSU is the biggest campus in the world and gives everyone an opportunity to accomplish something.
The Worst Things
Our dorm is way too loud and obnoxious at times as we have so many annoying people. It is frustrating.
