| Mission | |
| School mission: | Steeped in the long Catholic Dominican tradition, Albertus Magnus College provides a strong liberal arts foundation which is humanistically enlarging and practical in its application. This is achieved through our General Education Core Program, "Invitation to Insight" in which intentional collaborative learning communities are formed. In addition, the College offers teacher preparation for the middle school and secondary school levels with each student experiences two practice teaching terms; one in an urban setting and the other in a suburban setting. The College has strongly embraced the electronic advances currently available and is completely wired with computers, LCDs and workstations at each students place in every classroom. The residence halls as well as the academic buildings are wireless and provide Internet capabilities to all students. In addition the College offers unique programs to adult students providing classes and complete degree programs of study throughout the state of Connecticut. |
