Mercyhurst College is a small, Catholic institution in Erie, Pa., on the northwestern border of the state. Students at Mercyhurst College can choose from about six graduate programs and approximately 50 bachelor’s degree programs. Student athletes can try out for the Mercyhurst Lakers varsity sports teams, which compete at the NCAA Division I level in men’s and women’s ice hockey, and in various conferences of Division II in the roughly 21 other sports.
