Students at Mercyhurst College can choose from about six graduate programs and approximately 50 bachelor’s degree programs. About 20 percent of incoming freshmen at Mercyhurst College have yet to declare a major before starting classes. However, students of all majors are required to fulfill a 54-credit core curriculum, so undecided students have time to figure out what to major in while they take classes that go toward whichever degree they choose.

Student athletes can try out for the Mercyhurst Lakers varsity sports teams, which compete at the NCAA Division I level in men’s and women’s ice hockey, and in various conferences of Division II in the roughly 21 other sports.
