The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor prepares students for leadership, service, and faith-informed discernment in a global society. Academic excellence, personal attention, and broad-based scholarship distinguish this Christ-centered learning community. Chartered by the Republic of Texas in 1845 and affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas, UMHB is one of the oldest and most reputable universities in Texas. Today, more than 2,700 students attend UMHB and enjoy small classes, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1. UMHB offers 56 undergraduate majors/programs and 14 graduate programs. The beautiful 200-acre campus is conveniently located in Belton off I-35 between Dallas and San Antonio. |
