Maranatha Baptist Bible College is an accredited college that desires to produce students who are spiritually and academically prepared to serve the Lord. We want to develop servants of Christ who are disciplined, creative, and passionate about the field to which they have been called. Our passion is to instill a missionary vision and dedication to worldwide outreach and personal evangelism. Since 1968 Maranatha has emphasized a balanced approach to life. Each student must take significant Bible and liberal arts classes in addition to their major's requirements. Because students can serve the Lord in many ways, Maranatha offers majors in departments such as applied science, Bible, business, church ministries, education, fine arts, humanities, nursing, or ROTC. Our rigorous, interdisciplinary academics as well as excellent student to faculty ratio produce well rounded graduates. Maranatha's guiding core values stress fidelity to God and His Word, student learning that equips to serve with competence, integrity and moral excellence, charity and kindness to all, leadership and service to God and others, unity within diversity, educational balance, family, and the pursuit of excellence. As an NCAA III school, we offer opportunities to compete in football, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, cross-country and wrestling. Our fine arts department encourages the development of talent through orchestra, band, plays, choral groups, and ensembles. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive college education that is founded upon a valuable Bible core true to our Baptist heritage and that is set in a nurturing environment where serving the Lord while in college is encouraged and facilitated. |
