Located on 113 wooded acres in Sylvania, OH - 10 miles west of Toledo - Lourdes University provides a values-centered education and a diverse campus and residential life. Rooted in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, the institution offers baccalaureate degrees in more than 30 academic majors including art, business, criminal justice, environmental science, nursing and social work, as well as pre-professional programs in art therapy, athletic training, dentistry, engineering, law and medicine. Students can also earn graduate degrees in business, education, liberal arts, nursing, organizational leadership and theology. Lourdes provides a variety of social, recreational and educational activities to further enrich students' lives. From movie nights and comic shows to intramural sports and field trips, students will find something for every interest. Through the Department of Mission & Ministry, students can connect to their spirituality and volunteer for many great causes such as Habitat for Humanity. A member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, Lourdes students can also compete in baseball and men's and women's basketball, golf and volleyball.
