Lewis University is a Catholic university offering distinctive undergraduate and graduate programs to nearly 6,600 traditional and adult students. Lewis offers multiple campus locations, online degree programs, and a variety of formats that provide accessibility and convenience to a growing student population. Sponsored by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, Lewis prepares intellectually engaged, ethically grounded, globally aware, and socially responsible graduates. The seventh largest private not-for-profit university in Illinois, Lewis has been nationally recognized by The Princeton Review and U.S. News & World Report. Lewis provides a well-rounded liberal and professional education in fields including business, education, nursing, criminal/social justice, and aviation. Among its resources are a state-of-the-art science center; the Harold E. White Aviation Center with a Boeing 737 jet for clinical experiences; new nursing simulation labs including Sim Man mannequins; the first digital college radio station and a unique new TV production studio with robotics. The Lewis Flyers compete in NCAA Division II athletics and are members of the GLVC Conference with a new multi-purpose athletic and recreation complex.
