School mission and unique qualities (as provided by the school):

Kuyper College-Bringing God's Grace Into Today's Culture

Kuyper College is a Ministry-Focused Christian Leadership college that educates and trains Christian leaders for service through the integration of high academic curriculum and biblical Reformed worldview.

Founded as a Bible Institute in 1939, and accredited by various regional and national agencies, Kuyper College offers Bachelor and Associate degrees in 17 academic majors. These ministry and professional majors together form one of seven foundational elements that make Kuyper a very unique college. At Kuyper we call the sum of these elements 'TheKee,' or The Kuyper Education Experience.

Other elements of TheKee include: a continuous and intentional program of spiritual formation to help our students become mature in their faith, formal field-education and internship programs with nationally recognized organizations, where students apply the knowledge and skills they've acquired in the classroom to every-day situations; a foreign-education program where students have the opportunity to satisfy requirements in one of several locations throughout the world; a multi-cultural, ethnic and multi-denominational diversity program that embraces and promotes an environment where diversity thrives; a committed and nationally known faculty with a ratio of 1 faculty member for each 15 students; and a Cost-Reduction program that makes the cost for tuition and room and board 30% less than comparable colleges.

Perhaps, it is because of all we offer our students that we often hear from many of our 2,700 alumni. As present-day Christian leaders, serving in more than 50 countries throughout the world, they tell us that, indeed, Kuyper College is very unique and continues to make a major difference in their lives and in the lives of others.

Kuyper College is located in a beautiful, tranquil and semi-pastoral campus 8 miles from downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan-one of the top 50 metropolitan areas in the United States.
