Juniata College is a small, private liberal arts institution located in Huntingdon, Pa., about midway between Pittsburgh and the state capital of Harrisburg. Students at Juniata College can choose from more than 100 undergraduate academic programs, and about 30 percent of them design their own major. Through the Programs of Emphasis (POE), students can combine specific interests into a specialized major. For example, a student could earn a a degree combining studies in mathematics and theater. There are no fraternities or sororities at Juniata College, but students can join more than 90 organizations and play club sports. The Juniata Eagles varsity teams compete in the NCAA Division III in various conferences.

Juniata is an independent, co-educational college of liberal arts and sciences. Located in the scenic mountains of central Pennsylvania, the beautiful 110-acre main campus is supplemented by the 315-acre Baker-Henry Nature Preserve and Baker Peace Chapel. In addition, a 365-acre Environmental Studies Field Station on nearby Raystown Lake provides one of the most distinctive opportunities in environmental science in the nation. |
