School mission: With its original 1875 building at the heart of campus, Indiana University of Pennsylvania receives frequent national accolades and recognition. IUP is home to more than 13,000 students and provides special academic challenges through the Robert E. Cook Honors College. IUP is the largest institution in Pennsylvania's System of Higher Education and the only university authorized to confer doctoral degrees.
