Colleges in Indiana

College sports are a big deal at many of the top colleges and universities in Indiana, especially at Purdue University—West Lafayette and Indiana University—Bloomington, the two largest colleges in Indiana by undergraduate enrollment. In addition to large universities, Indiana is home to many notable midsize colleges and small liberal arts schools. Top colleges and universities are located throughout Indiana and in cities including Fort Wayne, Evansville, South Bend and the state capital of Indianapolis. Residents of Indiana can attend select public colleges and universities in eight states, including Illinois, Michigan and Missouri, through the Midwest Student Exchange Program and pay no more than 150 percent of the in-state tuition rate.
