| School mission: | From Dr. Gary Ridley, Interim President: God is displaying His glory in amazing ways here in Alaska! Everyday I am reminded that His wonders are displayed wherever I turn my eyes. As you tour our website, you will see pictures that display God's glory. I am not just talking about the beautiful mountains, glaciers, and Northern Lights. The people at Alaska Bible College display the glory of God! Alaska Bible College is a community dedicated to exalting the Lord Jesus Christ and extending His Church by equipping and motivating believers to transform the world. We want our students to reflect God's glory to the whole world. Ephesians 2:10 says, "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (NIV). God's glory is displayed in His workmanship in the lives of believers just as it is displayed in the beauty of the Wrangell Mountains at our doorstep. In fact, the display of God's glory in the life of believers is greater by far. Alaska Bible College provides you a spiritual, social, and academic setting that will enable you to deepen your relationship with God, form a Christian worldview, and develop your gifts to serve Christ and His Church. The classes, relationships with professors in and out of the classroom, interaction with staff and fellow students will enhance your spiritual life. Student Ministry Training will give you real-world experience guided by a Faculty/staff mentor. The apostle Peter commands us, "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
