Hope was founded in 1928 as Pacific Bible Seminary, when it began its long-standing tradition of empowering students to serve the Church and impact the world for Christ. The University provides students with a leadership and ethics focused education in service-based professions through undergraduate and graduate degree programs in business, education, ministry, music, psychology and counseling, human development and other social sciences. In addition, certificate and degree completion programs for working adults are offered. A significant number choose programs delivered via the Internet, as the University has developed a strong track record of delivering online education.
