School mission: Farmingdale State College of the SUNY system, Long Island's first public college, is a coeducational institution with 6,500 undergraduate students pursuing their educational goals in business, liberal arts, the applied sciences, health sciences and engineering technology. The college has a traditional 380-acre northeast campus situated in a convenient and centralized location in the heart of Long Island that allows limitless opportunities for internships with leading local companies.
