| School mission: | Fairmont State University offers a wide variety of graduate, bachelors, and associate degrees. The mission of FSU is to provide opportunities for individuals to achieve their professional and personal goals and discover roles for responsible citizenship that promote the common good. With a 120-acre main campus in Fairmont, West Virginia, FSU is part of the state-s growing high technology corridor, including a metro area of about 50,000 residents. The FSU main campus is within a short drive of larger cities such as Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and opportunities for outdoor recreation in West Virginia. FSU serves a 13-county region with facilities including the Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Education Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
