Museums or special academic buildings on campus ESU has 66 buildings located on approximately 256 acres in the East Stroudsbrug Borough and in Smithfield Township.In addition to the Academic facilities; nine residence halls housing 2200 students, and a 1000 seat dining hall are located on campus.The Student Activity Association owns Stony Acres, a 119acre offcampus student recreation area near Marshalls Creek. In September 2008, ESU held its opening ceremony for a new 124,000 Sq ft Science and Technology building which houses a planetarium.
