Big Picture
Duquesne is a nice little school in downtown Pittsburgh. The area surrounding Duquesne is pretty shady, so you shouldn't be walking around much.
Academic Life
In the music school, the class sizes are pretty small. Sometimes it felt like high school, because all the teachers knew everyone's name and were very involved with everyone's progress. I guess it's a good thing, but it can get annoying at times.
Student Body
Most of the students are white and catholic, i think, but it really makes no difference. being asian wasn't ever a problem. I really felt that I was a minority though, being from california. if anything, i stood out from the crowd at duquesne because i was asian.
