DEREE - The American College of Greece is an independent, non-profit, co-educational college of liberal arts and business, in the American tradition of higher education. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), the oldest and most prestigious accrediting body in the United States.
Founded in 1875, The American College of Greece is the oldest and largest American college in Europe.

DEREE has more than 3,000 students from 54 countries and 33,000 alumni internationally. It operates on its own beautiful 64-acre campus just 10 kilometers from the center of Athens. It has a second campus in the center of the city, which houses the ALBA Graduate Business School. The College's facilities are among the most modern in Europe, and in 2004 they were used by the United States Olympic Committee as the high-performance training center for US athletes competing in the Athens Olympic Games.
