Big Picture
I hate my life at DePaul, and know 4 others that would say exactly the same thing. In addition, a number of others are absolutely amazed at the fact that this was ever put on the "happiest students" list at PrincetonReview.com. This place is ridiculous; there are no facilities, a majority of the kids are absolute idiots, everyone's white or whitewashed (no offense; just to shed some light on the whole "diversity" bull*** campaign they keep touting), the campus is disgusting and only some 3 blocks large (but still no one can tell you where anything is), and all the alumni can only get you into crap like retail banking. DePaul administration, in respect to the staff and information desks, are absolutely useless most of the time - considering there's only some 5-10 buildings as part of the campus outside of dorms, it's just ridiculous that they can't tell you where Anything is. The faculty, as a majority, really sucks - but considering the fact taht I've heard the same from better schools, I could say relatively it's not bad... I've had 1 great teacher out of 8 classes, and 2 others that were good.. the remaining 5 either Really sucked or just sucked pretty bad.
Academic Life
Professors know your name 'cause the classes are small, but this is abused - if you look around, it's a lot like high school... the kid with the iPod, kids throwing paper, guys flirting, people sleeping, and the general idiots ***ing around. WRD 104 with Puccinelli is the Worst and most useless, retarded, bull*** class you'll Ever take... it can easily make you want to transfer, like me. Of course, if you're like the other idiots - it's easy as *** and you'll love it. Studying not required, participation is lacking (at best) or just retarded, There are no intellectual conversations (unless you count Tampons? as a valid intellectual subject), and the education overall is aimed at making you a socialist, homosexual-appreciating, idiot with the appreciation for an easy life based off of nothing.
Student Body
If "retarded***dumb***stupidassridiculouslyundereducatedunintellectualuseless***" was a word, it would be the one that would be closest to my one-word description of the student body. Yes, I have friends and acquaintances here, but for the most part I have no respect for the acquaintances. Not everyone's just "some rich kid" if that's what you're worried about. Everyone seems to be democratic even though they don't know what it is (barely any follow politics), so end up more socialist than anything else. Most students from the Midwest area... have no ambition, dress like bums, act like idiots, and have no goals or value for education. The girls are Extremely hot.. nad there are Many of them. Of course, they're all complete Bimbo retards.
