For more than half a century, The Culinary Institute of America has been dedicated to providing the world's best professional culinary education. The CIA offers associate and bachelor degree programs in Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts; and a new bachelor Culinary Science degree program. Our students benefit from an award-winning faculty, outstanding facilities, and a curriculum that features over 1,300 hours in the kitchen or bakeshop; rotations in on-campus, public-dining restaurants; and an externship at more than 1,200 CIA-approved sites around the world. Backed by the CIA's industry-wide reputation for excellence, these students go on to become leading professionals cooking in restaurants, writing about food, styling food for the camera, baking, owning restaurants, teaching in culinary schools, and more. In 1995, the CIA added a branch campus in the heart of California's Napa Valley - The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone. The CIA continued to grow, and in 2008, established a second branch campus, this time in San Antonio, TX. In 2010, in partnership with the Singapore Institute of Technology, the CIA opened its Singapore location on the campus of Temasek Polytechnic.
