Our century-old co-op program alone which enables students to gain up to 18 months of professional work experience related to their major or interest includes a network of more than 2,000 businesses, nonprofit institutions, and government agencies in nearly 500 communities around the world. Faculty members of Northeastern, frequently working in collaboration through one of our 37 interdisciplinary research centers, are motivated by the quest to develop applications that society will find useful.
