I would change the way in which students get football tickets! Every student should have the opportunity to go support their own school's football team! It is so easy to go to baseball, basketball games.. yet we have to STRESS about when we will get to order them, if the computer will freeze because everyone else is trying to access the same site, and what to do if we don't get them (hence I spent $450 on them)... not acceptable. Auburn is such the college town, and that's why i LOVE it! There is SO much school pride, which is absolutely great. Everyone supports each other, especially in the case of Lauren Burk.
Once again, the way in which you get to sign up for classes is kind of too hectic. You could be on the right track to graduate and then the 1 or 2 classes you need are CLOSED. I have enjoyed most of my professors here at Auburn so far. Each professor provides so many opportunities to gain extra knowledge and review material. The education here is most definitely geared toward getting a job. The College of Education constantly is preparing us so one day we will be able to get that teaching job.
I don't really think many people feel out of place at Auburn, or at least not that I know of. Most students, like myself, don't get dressed up for class unless it is required (presentation of some sort). I throw on a pair of shorts/sweats and a t-shirt. I don't really have any experiences with racial issues or socio-economic issues thus far.
