Arcadia University is a private school in eastern Pennsylvania, about 10 miles north of Philadelphia. Students at Arcadia can choose from more than 75 majors, including graduate programs in the fields of health and education. At Arcadia, the class sizes are small, and teaching assistants do not teach any courses. Arcadia encourages its students to explore the world and offers more than 100 study abroad programs, such as the Preview for Freshmen. Students have much to explore on campus, too, including the Grey Towers Castles, which belong to the school and have been declared a National Historic Landmark. Arcadia students can also join more than 90 student organizations, play intramural sports, or try out for the many varsity athletic teams. The Arcadia University Knights compete in the NCAA Division III Middle Atlantic Conference and offer opportunities in more than 15 men’s and women’s sports.
