Anderson University, founded in 1911, is a private, liberal arts-based comprehensive university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention.
The campus is located in scenic Upstate South Carolina near the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, and boasts lovely southern architecture, surrounded by a host of giant oaks, native dogwoods and azaleas.
With over 50 majors and concentrations, Anderson University brings an added dimension to the university experience with an intense focus on teaching and learning, and professors who are as much mentors to their students as instructors.
The University boasts a graduate program which includes an MBA degree, a Master of Ministry as well as three Masters of Education degrees. AU has a highly regarded business school, a regionally recognized college of visual and performing arts, and is one of the leading producers of top-quality teachers in South Carolina. Its School of Interior Design attracts students from every corner of the country due to its high quality of work and small class sizes, which allow meaningful design as early as the freshman year.
